Delete your account
You can delete your Animal Odyssey account and all associated data, from the app or by email.
From the app
- Open Animal Odyssey and go to Profile.
- Open Settings.
- Choose Data and security.
- Tap Delete my account, then confirm.
Before you confirm, the app reminds you that deletion is permanent.
Without the app
Send us an email from the address linked to your account, with the subject “Account deletion”.
We delete your account and your data within one month at most, and confirm it by email.

Data that is deleted
- Your account and login details
- Your profile and your profile and cover images
- Your observations and their photos, including on species pages and the map
- Your likes and comments, including on other people’s observations
- Your friends and friend requests
- Your progress: points, levels and badges
Deletion is immediate and permanent: the account cannot be recovered. Only anonymous statistics on species distribution remain, which cannot be used to identify you.
